We Buy Gold & Silver

Make the most of that old silver and gold lying around gathering dust in your drawers.

Used jewelry, watches, dental gold, silverware, and more can earn you a small fortune in new jewelry. You can choose from our ready-made jewelry or have a one-of-a-kind piece custom-designed by goldsmith Mads Adam Heindorf. If you choose to have it remelted into jewelry with a new design, you retain some of its sentimental value.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need to make an appointment to have my old gold or silver appraised?

  • Yes. We are open by appointment. You can book an appointment right here.

Should I buy jewelry from the store with the money?

  • Yes. The amount can be used toward either ready-made jewelry or new pieces we create. You can also choose to receive a store credit for the amount.

How do you calculate the price?

  • We weigh the material and provide a price per gram. Since gold and silver prices fluctuate daily, we base our pricing on the current market rate.

Do I need to bring identification when I sell my gold?

  • Yes, since we work with the police, photo ID is required to sell precious metals. Either a driver's license or a passport.

Can I use my own gold or silver to have a new piece of jewelry made?

  • Yes, you can. Custom jewelry made from your own gold or silver is what we do most often, so if you have a great idea for a piece of jewelry, feel free to stop by, and we’ll help you bring it to life.

Is there a charge for having the purity of my gold and silver tested?

  • No, we perform a free acid test in our workshop.

 What does "purity" mean?

  • Fineness refers to purity—it is the percentage of pure precious metal in an alloy. In other words, it is the way to determine the karat weight of the precious metal.

What does "karat" mean?

  • Carat is a unit of measurement for the purity of a precious metal. It is measured on a 24-point scale—1 carat represents 1/24 purity. This means that 24-carat pure gold is 24/24.
